1.Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors and users of the Service, including users of the free tools and holders of a Supporter pass. It does not apply to third-party websites or services, including SoundCloud and Ko-fi, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

2.Information We Collect

We collect only the information that is necessary to operate and improve the Service:

• Content identifiers: the SoundCloud URLs you submit in order to retrieve and convert the requested content.
• Supporter account data: the email address associated with your Ko-fi payment, your Supporter status and the expiry date of your pass.
• Authentication data: one-time 4-digit verification codes sent to your email address, and a session cookie that identifies your Supporter login.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and request information, processed by our servers for security, rate limiting and error diagnostics.
• Usage data: aggregated information about how the Service is used, collected through Google Analytics.

3.Information We Do Not Collect

Use of the free tools does not require registration. We do not ask for your name, postal address or telephone number, and we do not receive or store payment card details, which are processed exclusively by Ko-fi.

4.How We Use Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• To retrieve, convert and deliver the content you request.
• To activate, verify and maintain Supporter passes and provide the associated features.
• To send one-time login codes and respond to support requests.
• To protect the Service against abuse, fraud and excessive automated requests.
• To analyse usage trends and improve the performance and reliability of the Service.

5.Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable data protection laws require a legal basis, we process personal information on the basis of (a) the performance of a contract, in order to provide the Supporter features you have paid for; (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service; and (c) your consent, where required, for analytics cookies.

6.Processing of Audio Content

Audio content is retrieved from publicly available streams solely to fulfil your request. Temporary files created during conversion are deleted automatically once processing is complete. We do not maintain a library or archive of downloaded content.

7.Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies:

• A strictly necessary session cookie that keeps Supporters logged in, valid for up to 30 days.
• Browser local and session storage used to remember your login status and recent download history. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics to measure site traffic and usage.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent Supporter login from working correctly.

8.Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service. Each processes information only as necessary to perform its function:

• Ko-fi: payment processing for Supporter passes.
• Supabase: secure storage of Supporter account records.
• Email delivery providers: delivery of one-time login codes.
• Google Analytics: website usage analytics.
• SoundCloud: source of the publicly available content you request.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.

9.Data Retention

Supporter account records are retained for as long as needed to provide the Supporter features and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they may be deleted upon request. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes. Temporary conversion files are deleted immediately after processing.

10.Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to stored data. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11.International Transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where such transfers occur, we rely on the safeguards provided by those providers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

12.Your Rights

Depending on your place of residence, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

13.Children's Privacy
